The engine will start with no problem by key, it wo not respond through the remote...BUT the same remote WILL unlock and lock the doors. (so l know the battery in the remote is okay)
What should l look for?l thought maybe thers is a wire off the battery feed, my brother said there may be a fuse blown... would this fuse be with all the others in the car, or is there a fuse in the remote starter module?
HELP!!!
Ive had it for about 4 years. It has stopped after 2 yrs of not using it.(havent needed it).

advise that helps me where to start troubleshooting would be help.People who have some insight on what to look at would be help.

After market = not standard = we have no idea.

Did you get a book with the system when you bought it?

Who installed it?

Conclusion: it is broken.

Unless your brother is a mechanic, l would not think his opinion would be much help.

Maybe it is just a piece of junk. Aftermarket stuff is hard to predict. take it back to where you got it from and ask them.

ur car starts good with the key but not ok with the remote... my friend ur question has give u the answer already

the remote thing is like a module it make the electric power goes to one place to another to make things works, so the module is broken & dont pass the energy to make the car starts with the remote just that simple my friend

to make car starts with remote also uses some relays u should look for them, after u replace them & no make any progress then u have to buy a new module

take ur car to a good car alarm shop & pay for the job done, electric issues like remote & stuff can serious damage ur car if u dont do it properly
