Now ive heard of and seen a RX-1,2,3,4,5,7 and 8 but what happened to the RX-6 why didnt they make it?

l was unaware of the 1 as well. Can u list ur source? I'd love to see it. 2, 3, 4 were called something else as well (RX-2 Capella, or the other way around).
l had not heard of a 5 either until recently because l know it as the Mazda Cosmo :) u see my point. ha ha.
The RX-6 was limited in production (just like the 2003 RX-8.. not many people know it exists, & good luck finding info on it..) It was the same body as the Cosmo, & pretty much the same car.
Production of the Cosmo was done in 1980 l believe, to make way for the 1st gen RX-7.. & the rest is rotary history.

They make a mazda 6. l have never heard of the RX6

RX-7 and RX-8 is all I've ever heard of, Mazadaspeed 6 does kick the RX-8 is ass though.

l think he may be refering to the R100.
That pretty much started the R (rotary Initials)
However, it wasnt RX just R 100.

As far as an RX-6.there wasnt one made.but not sure why they didnt continue the sequence.

To my knowledge, the 1st Mazda Rotary production car is the RX-7(FC Chassis). The white car which one of Takumi is friend in Initial D Anime is driving. Then next comes the RX-7 (FD Chassis). The red car which Vin Diesel drove in Fast & Furious. There are 2 models to the FD though. However the only difference lies in the headlights & the tailights. Then next come the RX-8 which uses the SE chassis.
