One has a 4cyl turbo, one has a V-6.Both make about the same power.Which one is better?

both of em are pretty much made from the same parts, mazda is owned partially by ford. the ford edge is faster but the cx-7 is more agile

really depends on what u r looking for, l tried both & got the edge.

The CX-7 is sportier. It really handles well, the engine is more nervous. If u r coming from having a sports car, u might prefer the CX-7.

The Edge feels more like a big luxury car. It has good performance for passing & a smooth engine.
The suspension is also softer than the CX-7.

Do not go thinking u will spend more gaz with the edge. The 4-cyl of mazda needs premium fuel & the real word fuel economy is not very good.

We have had the edge for about 2 months now & love it. People love the look of it. We get lots of stares. We have the vista roof that is a very nice option.
For now, the only thing l do not like is the brakes. They r hard to use smoothly. They feel a bit like on or off.

They r both very good. l think u have to make ur choice thinking r u more the kinda person to be happy in a Prelude (Cx-7) or a Buick (Edge)

l am going to judge them by this comparison..
