Do not do it. Structurally the right rear and left rear doors wo not line up very good and in a side impact you will have to have the drivers door sugurically removed from your chest.

This is a very bad idea. The damn paste-on door hinges never fit correctly and will tank the value of your car.

we know for the the kind of question you are asking that you are rookie in that kind of mechanical work so

look for a bolt on application for your rx8 that will be direct fit and with people with no experience can do it easy by reading instructions

if you do not find a bolt on application pay a professional for the job done

Do not do it though, Every one l have seen looks like crap and the owners want to go back to standard hinges. One guy helped with the prototype and his car was all screwed up, they cut the top of the fenders off for clearance, has door panel was chewed up from hitting the A-pillar, and his paint around the door opening was chipped.
