Where can l find the performance numbers for the Mazdaspeed RX8 ? l can find the 350 specs, but l believe the Mazdaspeed RX8 out performs the Nissan hands down. Which car out of these two do you think is the better performer ? Keep in mind it is not a regular stock RX8 it is a ''Mazdaspeed''

l can tell you that over all the mazada speed will underperfom on over all total reliability. Every mazada speed car is a over all money pit and will spend more time in the shope then in your drive way. They are not made for every day driving so deemed worthless in my over all opnion.

The Mazdaspeed RX-8 has no engine modifications from the regular RX-8, so in a straight line, the RX-8 would be significantly slower than a 350Z. Times in the 1/4 mile for the 350Z should be high 13/low 14 seconds whereas the Mazdaspeed RX-8 should be more mid/high 14 seconds range. As for handling, the Mazdaspeed will feel much lighter on it is feet & more agile (less weight & better distribution), but the actual grip levels should be about the same with the Mazdaspeed coming out with a bit more.

l would not say one was better than the other it just depends on what u want out of the car. The 350Z is more of an import muscle car whereas the RX-8 is a lightweight go-kart.

You wo not find anything written up in the mags about a MazdaSpeed RX8 because, technically, it never existed.

Mazda has never brought out a MazdaSpeed RX8, but u or a dealer can create one. There r numerous ''goodies'' available through MazdaSpeed to add to the 8, mainly the usual intake/exhaust/suspension mods. But they were never ''officially'' added to a production model & called a MazdaSpeed RX8.

And as the above poster mentioned, there r no motor mods available through MazdaSpeed, so acceleration numbers r only slightly (maybe 0.1 or 0.2 sec) faster than stock, owing to intake/exhaust.
