I have a mazda 6 and the ac/fan will never turn off, even if i press off. WHAT IT WRONG

just remove the fuse until you can get it see'd about.

DO NOT PULL THE FUSE! its better that you know the fans work then not. if you are stuck in traffic with no fans you car will overheat and cause serious damage if not caught. take it to a Mazda dealer, seems you might have a bad temp sensor that is causing the fans not to turn off but l would have to check it out for myself to know for sure.

those fans works with thermo sensors, when they detect heat they starts spinning and when they go bad they do 2 things
1 do not start the fan
2 start the fan and never go off

you have to change that sensor, mazda dealer will do it in guarantee if your car has it, if not, it is not that expensive to fix

hello. it is probably ;a simple electronic difficulty, with my 626 the cooling fan never came ON, until l pointed the difficulty to a rep. he said, 'oops' and fixed the problem. good luck

It depends on the position of the vent. If it is the ''defrost ''defrost/floor'' or ''floor only the AC will come on even if the AC button indicates it is OFF. Mazda & Ford started doing this so that people wo not get the interior fogged up.

The other two vent positions (''front vents only'' & ''front vent/floor'') will not turn the AC on. If this is the issue, there is nothing wrong with ur car.

Consult the owner is menu, it is explained in there also.
