hello. one thing l DO know about the 'real world' gas mileage' is that the ratings are more 'severe' than before. what we see in a 'smaller' car is not as 'bright' as it was before. THEREFORE keep track of your own mileage, write down each time you fill up, how much, etc, and the mileage you drive. Keep track of your own mileage. good luck, and see what you find. me? l hardly drive now, due to my 'dis'ability.

My father is Mazda6 MPS (European name for Mazdaspeed6), gets 10.1 liter per 100 kilometers of 98 or 100 octane Shell V-Power or V-Power Racing.

That is 23.5 mpg (US gallons) or 28 mpg (Imperial gallons).

That is exactly what the European user manual says. Readings are taken from the on-board computer and sebsequently verified by manual computing.

He bought the car in December, 2006.

l have had my speed3 since November. The computer usually says between 23 and 26 mpg and l usually get between 21 and 25 mpg when calculating it manually. l would expect to get a couple mpg better when it warms up in summer.

l have an 07 MS3 with 15k. l get on average about 23.5. If l am in town and flogging the shit out of it, l get about 15-17. If l am on the interstate flogging the shit out of it, 23-25. Normal long commutes, all highway/interstates l have actually acheived 29.

Both the last two r correct. All ur 2008 window stickers r federally tested now which is why u saw the small drop in most cars & the larg drops on most ur big SV is & Hybrids. When u r manually calculating MPG u r calcualating gas consumed at long idle which is why there can be a slight difference. The Mazda3 while the only Mazda that offers that fuel estimating system takes into affect long idles that r longer than normal lights like sitting in a parkinglot listening to music. As well as the Speed is a direct injected Engine so ur car is still burning the gas that remained when u jsut finished a long drive which is why u have to watch out for flooding similar to the RX8. the new RX8 is 2009 r flood proof improving on what was done in the lower RPM boosting Speeds & CX7. l have the new white & gray speeds.
