l wont the one that will give me the most Speed and Power....And Dose the tubro cause the whislting sound and air soundwhen shifting gears? if not what dose?

with a car like that, if you can drive the standard get it. it will be worth more come trade in time.

oh get the 6 speed if u wanna jam a turbo in it. it will be awesome. the rx8 used in tokio drift movie was turbo aswell. if u get the turbo that is put on mazdaspeed 3 u can putout 550 bhp. if u add a cool air intake u will get 580ish! omg those r ferrari numbers!
just a reminder, make sure u change the rear tires to something wider so u wont burn rubber all the time.

yeah the whislting sound is called the turbo lag. if u change the air intake u can get a better sound aswell.

Get the six speed! Automatic sucks! you wanna control when you shift and at what rpm, do not let the car decide for you. You better drive that car like a man! And yeah turbo makes that sound you like, not so much with stock turbo as a complete aftermarket turbo kit w/inter coller/intake, depends on the type too. Manual is always quicker, faster, lighter, more reliable, cheaper, and better at handling.

The Manual transmission in the RX-8 is also very easy to drive. l have driven it before.

If u want the RX-8, keep it stock & get it in a manual. A true sports car should not be an automatic.
Skip the turbo on the RX-8. If u want a turbo, get the MazdaSpeed 3.

When u purchase the RX-8, make sure u follow the maintenance guide carefully. There r certain precautions u need to take with a rotary engine in order to maintain it properly.
Plus, it will burn about a quart of oil every 3,000 miles because of the engine, so do not worry about this if it happens to you. Just make sure u keep up on the maintenance.

Your getting an Rx-8 with turbo but do not know what causes ''whislting sound'' when shifting gears. Listen to me very carefully, If u r getting an rx-8 for speed & power do yourself a favor & buy an Rx-7!!!! then put a turbo on that. Rx-8 engines cannot be turbocharged nor seriously raced unless done some heavy mod's. That whistling sound is ''a turbo'' but if u want the whistling sound u can get a blow off valve on that Rx-8 automatic..

Buy manual Rx-7 with turbo.10Xssssss faster than any Rx-8.

l would get the six speed because turbo is useless without its gears. the whistling noise is a blow off valve.

Get the 6 speed it has more horsepower. The turbo will make the whistle sound when u have a blow out valve. So it matters what turbo ur getting. Or u can put a cold air intake that makes a deep sound at high rpm's..But for sure get the 6 speed..if u get a great car like that and if its not 6 speed its a shame.

Get a manual if you can stand it. The whistling sound is a BOV - a component of a turbo setup.

wow do not get a automatic, everyone will laugh at you if you turbo it, l agree go with the twin turbo rx-7, those things look better, handle really good, super light weight, and with more mods than the rx8. so with the money that you would buy the turbo, you could prob add another 300-500 extra hp out of a 13b twin turbo
