unless you install a lift kit which will just look retarded on a mazda 929.

That will put your gearing ratio out and make the speedo wrong... It might also foul the suspension or the arches of the car.

Sure u can. Just be sure to take out the steering wheel at the same time. You wo not need it because ur car will never turn again. Nor will the engine have enough torque to push those monsters above 50 MPH.

If u want to fill up the wheel well there r a lot of other options than DUB is that will still allow u some driveability.

18''s will fill up the well & going with a nice low profile will make them look even larger. Understand that after each drive u r going to need an ambulance to get ur neck out of ur arse, but it will still look cool.

Just with 18''s u r going to be adding at least 95lbs of extra weight with a lightweight wheel. Thats not including the tires which will be another 95 lbs. Your car will be struggling just to move them. Your speedo will be off by about 10mph at 60, & running over a piece of gravel will feel like hitting a squirrel. Your clutch will burn up twice as fast & trying to climb a speed bump will be an experience u will never forget.
