l bet when the battery was installed one of the fuses got blown. Can you be a little more specific about how it does not work? Does it come on? Does it just not get cold? But first things first check the fuses any body can do it. It even tells you how in your owners manual.

look under your battery and see if the ac hose is running below it .If so then the low pressure switch may have been knocked off when the battery was installed.The switch that l am talking about just plugs into the ac line if it is not on the ac will not work .

placing a new battery wouldnt finish the job ,may be there is a leak in ur compressor or u have ever filled the ac gas,if not once refill it again ...if isnt still working then check pressure pipes that build pressure in the compressor if there is a leak seal it
