We are looking into buying a 2000 Mazda Protege.It has 78k miles on it.It is the 4cyl engine.We have had nothing but problem cars in the past and we would like a reliable car.If anyone could give me ANY pro is and con is that would be fabulous thank you.!

It is a great car.
Everyone l knew who had one easily got over 200,000 miles.
l am at 136,500 miles with my 96 Protege.

Pro's:
-One of the best handling cars in the world.- l know it is hard to believe, but it is true. You can tell when you turn at high speeds.
-Peppy high revving engine.
-Great sound.
-Practical with a large trunk and interior.

Con's:
-More expensive to fix than other Japanese cars.
